Government Sales Director
Job duties include:
The Government Sales Director is responsible for driving sales through all federal Agencies throughout the United States and other countries.
Daily responsibilities include the following: develop and implement marketing and sales plans. Follow up with email and phone leads. Provide technical specifications, create quotations, and follow up as needed. Close deals and increase revenue. Communicate with customers via email and phone. Attend at least four trade shows.
Key Government Sales responsibilities include the following: working incoming leads from military bases, Air Force bases, and local law enforcement. Providing price quotations and competitive justifications. Input of all bid requirements. Following up with existing leads to grow national, international, and local sales. Identifying and establishing new international distributors and clients to add to customer base.
Additional job responsibilities include the following: adhere to and carry out existing work practices, procedures, and policies. Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate. Understand and comply with safety and environmental policies. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or foreign equivalent with coursework in sales management, marketing, and consumer behavior
